These Puppies are extremely SMART!!!
This Video Shows one of the puppies sitting on command at only
4 weeks old! My 11 yr old had the entire litter doing this in about an hour!

Known as "Gentle Giants". Described as Sweet Tempered, Exceptionally Good with children, Extremely Loyal, Docile, yet having Tremendous Strength, and a Natural Ability and Desire to Swim.
Newfoundlands are the only breed of dog best described as a "Nanny Dog" and are the number ONE dog used for Water Rescues.

I love love LOVE dogs. I have always grown up with dogs, and I've never been more impressed with a breed of dog than I am with the Newfie. They are so incredibly tolerant of children. My kids can lay on them, ride them, sleep with them. Our dogs follow my kids around the yard and flop down near them while they play without getting in their faces or jumping. They just keep an eye on them in the house of outside. Our male, Titan pulls the kids around in the sled when it snows. Our Newfies are strong, but kinda lazy.

Newfoundlands are DEFINITELY the best breed of dog I have ever encountered. Best all the way around. Easy to train because they try hard to please and they don't like getting in trouble--so things stick with them faster. They are good  with other dogs, they are good with kids of all ages, they are good around horses, chickens, 4 wheelers, etc. Easy to maintain. Don't eat as much as expected. Get along with each other. But most importantly, I can trust them around my children. I am just amazed.

I raise these dogs as a hobby. My dogs are part of my family. I'm not into Showing, simply because I don't want to play dog politics, and I don't have the time, but not because I can't show. I admire those who have time for showing. I have not made the time because I want to spend the time I have with my family---my kids, my hubby, and my dogs.

IS THE NEWFOUNDLAND THE RIGHT BREED FOR YOU?

As much as I love the breed their not for everyone.
They are a big dog and that needs to be taken into account!
Also they do drool and shed! Their grooming needs are high! They also require a lot of socialization!
If you are thinking about this breed give me a call and we can decide if it's the right breed for you!:)
